Fire Marshal Training

Understanding Fire Safety Legislation:

Participants will gain a thorough understanding of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and other relevant fire safety legislation, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and best practices.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Attendees will learn about the duties and responsibilities of a Fire Marshal, including their role in fire prevention, evacuation procedures, and emergency response.

Fire Risk Assessment:

Participants will learn how to understand their fire risk assessments effectively, identifying potential fire hazards, evaluating risks, and implementing appropriate control measures to minimise the risk of fire incidents.

Fire Prevention and Detection:

Attendees will gain insights into fire prevention strategies, including proper housekeeping, storage of flammable materials, and the importance of fire detection systems such as smoke detectors and fire alarms.

Emergency Evacuation Procedures:

Participants will learn how to develop and implement emergency evacuation plans, including the orderly evacuation of premises, the assembly of personnel at designated assembly points, and the safe evacuation of individuals with disabilities or special needs.

Effective Use of Fire Extinguishers:

Through hands-on training exercises, attendees will learn how to select and use the appropriate type of fire extinguisher for different classes of fires, including practical demonstrations on the use of extinguishers on live fire.

Practical Fire Drills:

Our courses include practical fire drill exercises, allowing participants to apply their knowledge and skills in simulated fire scenarios, reinforcing learning and ensuring readiness to respond effectively in real emergencies.

Communication and Leadership Skills:

Participants will develop effective communication and leadership skills essential for coordinating emergency responses, guiding evacuations, and managing crisis situations with confidence and professionalism.
