Our trainer Mark immediately engaged everyone delivering the session using a friendly, straightforward method of explaining the most important information and taking away the unnecessary extra bits that make it more confusing, dispelling a lot of myths connected with first aid. His words “To at least try and do something is better than doing nothing at all” really stuck with me and took away the fear of not attempting first aid in case I did it wrong. There was a hands-on section where we used manikins to practice resuscitation, CPR and choking. Mark listened to our school concerns and we had a great Q&A session plus it was very helpful to hear about Marks own personal experiences in delivering first aid. This training session left everyone feeling confident in their skills to deliver first aid, a fantastic training session that I would recommend to anyone.”

‘Training can often be seen as a chore, and First Aid training can be a daunting experience for anyone, however meeting, then working alongside both Craig and Mark made the decision easy. The structure and flexibility of the training was delivered in a way that can only be described as fun, practical (very!) and educational, providing enough confidence and knowledge to deal with a range of situations.
Real life examples from real situations, coupled with video footage of real life situations, aided the flow and learning needs of a whole rooms full of people who I’m sure all have different learning abilities.
The practical side of the training was great fun, whilst allowing an almost real time situations that needed to be resolved, as after all theory is one thing practice makes perfect. (Great make up Craig!!)

“Leonardo Hotels (previously Jurys Inns) have partnered with YFAST now for almost 7 years as our preferred H&S training supplier. They provide all of our first aid, fire marshal, mental health first aid and manual handling train the trainer training throughout the group in the UK.
The service that they provide is second to none. They are flexible and happy to travel the length and breadth of the country for us delivering sessions in our hotels. We book sessions three months in advance (to secure their popular services) but YFAST are always very flexible and somehow are able to accommodate our last minute requests as and when they arise.
I have never had waitlists for H&S courses before and that is down to the reputation that YFAST have in our business. “Having worked in hospitality for over 20 years now, I have personally been trained by many different training professionals, as well as having arranged training for my teams in different sites and cities around the UK. The feedback I receive consistently from any of my team who attend training courses provided by YFAST Ltd is second to none.
